I recently completed my journalism certificate at CityVarsity in Cape Town. This was one of my first assignments for TV Journalism where we had to choose a subject to follow around filming. I chose to do my assignment on Amy Dean who at the time was studying at UCT Dance School and has now graduated and is dancing with Cape Town City Ballet. This film is just her telling you a bit about how she started dancing.

This is a short documentary that myself and my team produced for our TV journalism class at CityVarsity. We had a project that consisted of two parts, we had to firstly produce a research file, then present our file to a panel of 3 in the TV and film industry. We then we divided into groups and we had to produce the final short documentary on the chosen research files. I was the camera person and helped edit the final video together.

I created this slideshow/video as part of my gift to my brother and sister-in-law for their wedding reception. The video shows images of both of them as children and then images of them from while they have been dating. It shows the journey they have both been through in order to meet each other.
